We are a family friendly social club based in the heart of one of the prettiest villages in Surrey.
The existing Clubhouse was built in 1840 originally as a brewery. In 1872 it was converted to the Godstone Literary Institute, reading rooms for the local community. The Club itself was formed in 1910 and in 1948 Sir Peter Greenwell made the building available to the village community. In 1964 the premises, together with the land which is now used for bowls and tennis, transferred to a charitable trust.
Membership is open to residents of Godstone and the surrounding district
Membership
The current membership is £22 a year for an individual, and £36 a year for couples plus a £5 fee for entry cards per person.
From the months of July through to December, the membership fees are half price, to account for half the year already taking place.

Associated clubs & teams
We have inhouse Pool, Snooker and Darts teams, all playing in local leagues from september and all looking for new members.
We are also closely associated with Godstone Tennis Club, Table Tennis Club, Godstone Football Club and Godstone Bowls club, with membership of said clubs giving you membership to the Godstone Club & Institute and use of the bar and facilities.

Our Bar

Our bar is extremely well stocked, with a range or 7 Largers, 2 Ciders, Guiness and 2 Ales on tap, with a further range of Beer and Cider available in bottled form.
We also have an extensive list of spirits and mixers available, able to create drinks to your demand.
Our prices for members start from £4.40 for a pint, and don’t cross the £5 threshold.
We also have a range of bar snacks, often having everything you’d ever want behind. From crisps to funky flavours of nuts, you’ll never run out of salted goods to rush down with your pint.
